Pick a tiny companion.
Make this tab its home.
A free online pixel pet playground. No download, no account — just a little company at the bottom of this window.
Choose a pet below, then look at the bottom edge of your screen. Click the walking pet to make it hop.
All eight pets and up to four companions are free to preview here. In the extension, the Shiba, tabby cat and rubber duck are free with one pet on screen. Pro unlocks all eight and up to four companions for $1.99 once.
The playground works in this tab only. The extension puts a pet on supported web pages in a desktop Chromium browser. Chrome on phones cannot run the extension.
What can you do with this online pet?
Switch between the Shiba, tabby cat, rubber duck, dino, ghost, fox, penguin and slime. Try a tiny calm cat or a group of lively ducks. The pets walk, sit and sleep on their own; scrolling wakes a sleeping pet. There is no feeding schedule, score or account to maintain.
Send someone a little company
Choose your animal, size, activity and number of companions, then copy your setup link. Opening it restores those choices in this playground. The link contains only those settings; it does not contain a name or account. It also works as a bookmark for your next study or work session.
Does it work without downloading an extension?
Yes, this preview runs directly in the page. It cannot add pets to other websites or to your computer desktop. For company across browser tabs, install Pixel Pets. If you want a pet outside the browser, read the browser vs. desktop pet guide first.
Why is my pet standing still?
If your device requests reduced motion, pets stay still and do not hop. Animations also pause in background tabs. That behavior respects your settings; it is not a locked feature. For extension issues, see the visibility checklist.
