Pixel Pets does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. This page explains exactly what the extension stores and the one server it can ever talk to.
What the extension stores
Everything below is kept on your own device by the browser:
-
Which pet you picked, its size, how lively it is, and how many appear at once. This lives
in
chrome.storage.sync, so Chrome may sync it between your own browsers under your Google account — that sync is Chrome's, not ours. - The list of sites where you asked the pet not to appear.
-
If you bought Pro: your licence key, a random device identifier generated on your machine,
and the signed activation token, in
chrome.storage.local.
What the extension reads
The content script runs on the pages you visit so it can place the pet at the bottom of the window. It does not read, modify, or transmit page content — it appends one container element of its own and touches nothing else.
When you click the toolbar icon, the popup reads the current tab's hostname so it can offer "Off on this site". That hostname stays on your device.
Network requests
A free installation makes no network requests at all. There is no server for it to talk to, no analytics endpoint, and no remote configuration.
If you buy Pro, the extension contacts exactly one host:
pixel-pets-license.1711257704.workers.dev — once to activate your licence key, and once a day after
that to check the licence is still valid. Those requests contain your licence key and the
random device identifier, and nothing else.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card details go to them and never reach us or the extension. We receive an order identifier and the e-mail address you used at checkout, and use them only to issue and support your licence.
Third parties
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts — in the extension and on this website. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The pet walking along the bottom of this page runs entirely in your browser.
Children
Pixel Pets is not directed at children and collects nothing that could identify anyone, of any age.
Data deletion
Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored. To have your licence record deleted from the licence server, write to the address below and name your order.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing here will start collecting data without that date moving.
